Birthdays

Maybe I was around 10-11 here?

This little munchin is growing up! November 1st will be my 21st birthday. I think its safe to say high expectations for birthdays never work out.

I don't have any plans for my birthday, and if anything they will be lowkey. I know it is "normal" to have a big drinking fest, but I don't anticipate that. So tell me, what did you do for your 21st? Am I ultra lame for just sneaking a ride and buying myself a bottle of wine?

  1. Happy early birthday!

My mom and I went out after midnight so we could have that first celebratory drink I guess. We ended up hanging out with a bachelor party, going to a cabin with these guys and having a bonfire. When my mom realized how late it was and she'd told her husband we were only going out for one drink, she left me. I sat up all night wondering how to get home. In the morning when I got picked up we went to church and I thought my mom and stepdad were going to get divorced he was so mad at her.

And then I had a wicked hangover. 0/10 I recommend you do something different hahahahahaha

  2. I literally cannot remember what I did for my 21st birthday, so it must have been just as boring and low key as all the other ones. Birthdays are not my jam. Give me some money and leave me alone. :P

  4. I turned 21 before 90% of my friends, so I had a pretty quiet night. My mom and her friends took me out for drinks (absolutely hysterical time was had by all), dinner with my family, and then went out for a couple more drinks with two of my few friends who were old enough to bar. It was quiet, but fun! Happy early birthday!

  5. Happy Birthday- I think you should do what you want to do and not worry about what you should do. A ride and a bottle of wine also sound perfect to me.
